Meet Robert B. O’Neal, DMD, MS, MEd
Dr. Robert O’Neal received his dental education at the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine in 1971 and his specialty training in Periodontics from George Washington University and Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC in 1977.
In addition to his successful specialty practice of periodontics, Dr. O’Neal is the former Director of the Graduate Program in Periodontics at the University of Washington School of Dentistry.
Dr. O’Neal is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Washington State Society of Periodontology, and Seattle King County Dental Society. He is one of a select group in Seattle who is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and consistently been named as a “Top Seattle Periodontist.” He has served as an examiner on the American Board of Periodontology.
A respected author of more than 30 publications, Dr. O’Neal has lectured nationally and internationally. His clinical and research interests are in the regeneration of both hard and soft tissues and implant therapy.
Outside the office, Dr. O’Neal enjoys biking, hiking, and cross-country skiing.
