Michael - Office Manager

I have been with this practice for the past 18 years as our office and business manager. Most of the time I can be found in the office coordinating treatment plans, managing insurance, and running the day-to-day business operations to ensure the office runs smoothly. I am dedicated to caring for our patients and strive to make each experience the best it can be.

I attended the University of Colorado in Boulder where I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering and Construction Management. In my free time I enjoy landscaping, home remodeling, walking my dogs, and traveling.

Donna - Office Adminstrator

I am one of the first people our patients speak with when they call to make an appointment. I gather all their information and schedule their initial exam specific to their needs. I consider myself to be a patient advocate and enjoy helping to ease their anxieties and fear of the unknown. Our doctors and staff have an uncompromising commitment to excellence and I am proud to be a member of this team. We enjoy working together and hope you’ll enjoy your time with us as well.

My finacé, Mark, and I are getting married in the fall of 2011 in Italy. When I have free time I enjoy reading, cooking, wine tasting, traveling, camping, hiking, attending the theatre, and the arts.

Judy - Office Administrator

I work at our front desk, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting patients with insurance. I love getting to know our patients and visiting with them when they come in for an appointment. I get to learn all about their trips, interesting hobbies, and family happenings. Our patients get the best possible care from our doctors and staff members and we all love to see them leave with a smile.

I have two daughters, Lyndsee and Ashlee, and one dog named Zoe. I enjoy photography, road trips, and going to the beach when I have free time. I also collect cookbooks but love to go out for pizza!

Melanie - Lead Dental Assistant

I have worked in the dental field for 13 years and have been working at this office as a dental assistant since 2008. I spend most of my day seating patients and preparing them for surgery, assisting during surgery, removing sutures, taking X-rays and impressions, and giving oral hygiene instructions. Along with the rest of our team, Drs. Butler, Richins, and O’Neal are a true pleasure to work with. They always want what is best for our patients and have a wonderful chairside manner.

At home, I have two cats, D’Artagnan and Chevalier. When I’m not in the office I enjoy watching documentaries, going to the symphony, learning to rock climb, relaxing at the spa, and singing.

Rachel - Dental Assistant

As one of our dental assistants, I work directly with patients chairside and make post-operative calls to ensure our patients are recovering from any procedure they completed. I love the hands-on aspect of my job and feel very gratified when I see awesome results and know I was a part of it. Our doctors and the rest of our team go above and beyond to give exceptional periodontal care.

I am married to my husband, Danny, and we have one dog named Lucy. I enjoy spending my free time singing, watching movies, teaching piano and singing, outdoor activities, and eating.

Kelly - Dental Hygienist

As a dental hygienist, I care for patients through scaling and root planing, supportive periodontal therapy, oral hygiene instruction, and education on periodontal issues. I want our patients to be comfortable in our office. I also want to help instill their confidence in me and with our practice as a whole. We all do our best and strive for perfection every day.

My husband, Steve, and I have one son, Austin, and a dog named Titan. I love being outside whether I am boating, skiing, cycling, or traveling. I spend most of my free time with my family, attending my son’s sporting events, and running a local youth cheer-leading program.

Katie - Dental Hygienist

As one of our dental hygienists, I am responsible for all aspects of our patients’ periodontal health and maintenance. I love the one-on-one aspect of my job; I really enjoy getting to know our patients and learning about their family, what they do, and what they like. Our office has a commitment to high quality patient care. We all put our patients’ needs and comfort first.

My husband, James, and I have two beautiful daughters, Megan, and Madison, and I have two step-sons, Mackenzie and Zachary. Our house is also full of animals including five cats, two dogs, and three fish. I have a “green thumb” and can make anything grow so I love being in my yard gardening, hiking, and just hanging with my family.

Rebecka

As one of our registered dental assistants, I can be found helping our doctors and hygienists during patient procedures, charting, and sterilization. I greet all our patients with a smile and provide the very best customer service. I believe each patient should be treated like a guest in our dental home and I want to do anything I can to make sure they are as comfortable as possible. Our office is small and family-focused and our team is committed to your satisfaction. From our assistants to the hygienists and the front office personnel to the doctors, we all work toward a common goal of making you smile!

I spend most of my free time with my young daughter, Hailey. Maintaining my health and staying active is also a priority, whether I’m doing cardio and weight training in the gym or training to summit Mt. Rainier.

Abby

I am a chairside assistant to Drs. Butler, Richins, and O’Neal, so I seat patients, assist during procedures, and see them during post-op visits. When I am needed, I can also be found helping out in the front office. I find it very rewarding to meet our new patients and watch as their health progresses. I also enjoy working with such well-respected doctors who give consistently excellent care.

When I’m not in the office, I like to take my dog for walks and go shopping. I am originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, so I also love going to the beach.
